How to choose the right dance studio
When choosing a dance studio, important things to consider are the training approach, faculty, location, and facilities. The distance traveling to a dance school should fit into your family schedule. You should visit the studio to see the space in person. Make sure the studios are equipped with barres, dance floors and mirrors. It’s a good idea to look around the entire studio, including the locker rooms, while you’re there.
And perhaps of greatest importance, quality training is key in choosing a dance studio. One of the most sought after forms of ballet training is the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough eight level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. ABT Certified Teachers are located across the United States and abroad.
