Have a Healthy Summer
If your child’s dance classes are on summer hiatus, keep her active and healthy at home this month. Try some new, nutritious recipes together (like Pirouette Pasta!). Take walks, play outside, and let her improvise some dance moves to her favorite music. It’s also important to stretch her muscles regularly so they don’t stiffen up. Challenge her to touch her toes or try one of these other simple, kid-friendly stretches.
If you need more ideas for how to fill long summer days, visit AngelinaBallerina.com for activities you and your dancer can enjoy both online and off. You’ll find dancing games, dress-up games, tunes to twirl to, coloring sheets, and more.
I hope you and your dancer have wonderful July!
